New Digs!

March 17, 2013

As of today, March 15th 5pm Texas time Marc and Raeann move in an apartment off base.

Thank you to Zak Slaughter for flying up to Texas for the weekend( and to Roger Gregston for the ticket)to help.

We also want to thank Dan McKinnon for arranging a few soldiers( who's names I will get soon) who volunteered their time and truck to Marc move.

This could not have happend without all of your help and kindness. They are excited to finally be on their own and have a place to be a family. No word yet on his homecoming although we are still looking at May.

Next week I will have some pictures of them and their new place to share. Please continue to keep our family in your prayers.

A message from Marc

January 23, 2013

I would like to thank each and everyone of you who have been praying for us. I apologize for not getting this out sooner, but we have been waiting for some good news to share.

Today I received the news from my surgeon that we have been waiting for...I will be able to apply weight to my left leg in 3 weeks.

Thank you Mark for creating this website, my family and friend have been able to keep up so many things because of your act of kindness.

I also want to thank you all for your gifts, cards and notes on Facebook. We read each one and we do appreciate them.

I have seen the pictures from the JoJo's Pizza Night, The Yellow Ribbon Ball, Roscoes and the Poker Tournament. It looks like you have really enjoyed being a part of this recovery with Raeann, Riley, Randy and myself.

I am looking into a homecoming possibly in May and will know more as time passes and Dr's approve.

Afghanistan is a good example of what we never want to be as a country!

The Cav Scouts I served with have now returned home to Fort Lewis Washington.

I plan on visiting them next month and will post a few pictures on this website.

I am proud to serve this country, it is and will always be privilege to do so.

First of all,

Thank you so much for your Love & Support, with your appearance at Jojo's Pizza last night.

We do not know any total but when Bob and I heard about the turn out we were overwhelmed, we are so blessed to have so many great friends and live in a loving community.

We will be home and attending the Yellow Ribbon Ball on Friday as well as the (Roscoe's) Chino Hills Fire Dept. fundraiser on Dec. 1st. Thank you all so very much for your love and support.

We found out Marc will have another surgery tomorrow morning 10 am Texas time. Dr's will fuse his heel and ankle, this should be the last of his in patient surgeries.

I will update you as soon as he is out and in recovery.

Thank You so much!!
-Bob & T
